A BIT OF HISTORY-

These scarves were first made for The Cambridge University Colleges in woven wool;lack of raw materials in The Second World World forced manufacturers to adopt other methods of production ,namely using sections of worsted wool from rolls to create a scarf,rather than weaving it in one piece. The results were so striking and distinctive that they never looked back!
